If you are trying to be healthier, a yummy salad is probably one of your staple foods. Salad is loaded with yummy, crunchy vegetables, it’s low in calories, and it’s very filling (depending on how you prepare it, of course!). Try this Copycat Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix! Check out our other Copycat Recipes!

One of the biggest problems with salad, however, is figuring out what type of dressing to put on top of it. After all, it totally defeats the purpose of preparing a fresh healthy salad for yourself if you turn around and dump all sorts of chemicals, additives and preservatives all over it in the form of store-bought salad dressing just a few minutes later.
The next time you make yourself a salad, keep it healthy and delicious. This Copycat Good Seasonings Italian Dressing Mix is made with only real ingredients–most of which you probably already have on hand–it is super easy, and it is really yummy too! Eating healthy has never been so enjoyable or so easy! I love these reusable chalk board stickers that you can write on for your containers too!!

  4. I just have to ask, What ingredient goes with that last 1 1/2 Tbsp ? I liked the recipe as printed. I used it to make Angel Chicken Pasta. The next time I will use less sugar and add garlic salt to the mix. Another time I will use Italian seasoning in place of the oregano, thyme and basil, since that is what is in the seasoning. I will see what combination of spices I prefer, but this is an excellent starting place. Thanks for providing this recipe, as I never have the packaged dressing mix when I need it, but the spices are always in my spice drawer.

  5. No wonder I thought it needed garlic salt 🙂
