The Recovering Spender: How to Live a Happy, Fulfilled, Debt-Free Life

We can all use some money saving advice right?! My friend Lauren Greutman just released a new book, The Recovering Spender. You may have seen her on The TODAY SHOW, ABC’s Nightline, Good Morning America, Fox & Friends, or WNBC New York City to name a few!

I had the opportunity to read this book before the launch and let me tell you this, I’m NOT one to read books. I started this book and couldn’t put it down! No matter your situation, even if your debt free you will get something out of this book! Of course, if you are struggling with debt then this is a must have book for your financial freedom!

I have always loved Lauren since I began to follow her years ago. In this book, she is raw and honest. She shares from her heart the good and bad where she failed, struggled and gives a ton of inspiration and encouragement. Her spending addiction caused her family $40,000 in consumer debt. OUCH!! But, just like any other addiction you can get yourself out of it. The most important step is admitting you have a problem and the willingness to change!

I love that I can relate to her 12 Steps with working at a drug treatment center before I started my blogging journey. I’ve always been a believer in the 12 Step Program. Lauren uses her own experience in the same field and puts it into action – The Recovering Spender!
