Meijer Meal Plan: 5 Meals Under $50


Meijer Monday Meal Plan: 5 Meals for Under $50! That’s under $10 a meal that will feed approximately 4 people! I sometimes think that figuring out dinner is the hardest job of the day! With school being just around the corner we have to find ways to make our job easier, stress free and be able to complete all the duties of a parent! So…check this out!! You may need to adjust ingredients to fit your family size. Prices are based off items from you pantry and garden along with per per unit/recipe. You may need to add ingredients to your shopping list and adjust the total. These prices are also based on this weeks Meijer Deals before coupons you can use this meal plan with any grocer you choose. You can search our Coupon Database for any coupons that are available for the items.

  • PAM Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 2 can (15 oz. each) Chef Boyardee Beefaroni Pasta
  • 1 can (14.5 oz.each) Hunt's Diced Tomatoes, drained
  • ¼ cup Hunt's Tomato Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped dill pickle
  • 1 tbsp prepared yellow mustard
  • ¼ cup shredded reduced fat Cheddar cheese
  • 1 hamburger bun with sesame seeds, torn into small pieces
  1. Preheat broiler. Spray 10-inch oven-safe skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat.
  2. Add beefaroni, drained tomatoes, ketchup, pickle and mustard to skillet. Heat 5 minutes or until hot, stirring occasionally.
  3. Top with cheese. Lightly spray torn bun with cooking spray and place on top of cheese. Place skillet under broiler 2 to 3 minutes or until bun pieces are browned and crisp.

Baked Chicken Alfredo

  • 1 (16-oz.) pkg. fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 (8-oz.) pkg. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 (15-oz.) jars Alfredo sauce
  • 1 (12-oz.) pkg. refrigerated grilled chicken breast strips
  • ½ cup shredded Italian-style cheese blend
  • ⅓ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh basil
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and return to saucepan.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms; cook and stir until lightly browned. Set aside.
  3. Stir sauce, chicken strips, ¼ cup of the cheese and mushrooms into the pasta. Transfer pasta mixture to 2-quart rectangular baking dish. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and remaining ¼ cup cheese.
  4. Bake, covered, for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake about 10 minutes more or until heated through. Just before serving, sprinkle with basil

Favorite BLT

  • 8 slices multi-grain bread, toasted
  • ¼ cup Kraft Real Mayo Mayonnaise
  • 4 leaf lettuce leaves
  • 8 slices tomato
  • 8 slices cooked Bacon
  1. Spread bread slices with mayo.
  2. Fill with remaining ingredients.

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (10.75 oz.) can Campbell's Condensed Tomato Soup (Regular or Healthy Request)
  • ½ cup Pace Picante Sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • 6 (6-inch) flour tortillas, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  1. Cook the beef in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.
  2. Stir the soup, picante sauce, water and tortillas in the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes. Stir the beef mixture. Top with the cheese.

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 (16.33 oz.) pkg. Taco Bell Home Originals Soft Taco Dinner
  • 1 (16 oz.) can Taco Bell Home Originals Refried Beans
  • 10 Taco Bell Home Originals Taco Shells
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  1. Cook meat with Taco Seasoning Mix as directed on package.
  2. Spread each warmed Soft Tortilla with 2 Tbsp. of the beans; place crisp taco shell on beans, then old soft tortilla over taco shell.
  3. Fill taco shells with seasoned meat; top evenly with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa and sour cream.
