How to make Oreo Eyeball Cookies! These are so simple to make and you can get the kids in on the fun too. What a fun DIY party treat. Can’t say if these are cute or scary, either way they will be a hit!! You can also use gel food coloring instead of making the icing. An alternative to M&M’s would be purple skittles as well. Hope your family has a much fun as we did making these editable eyeballs ūüôā

Here is a fun Halloween treat.These eyeball cookies make for a fun DIY party treat!

Ingredients
  • COOKIE INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 package of Oreo cookies
  • 1 bag of chocolateM&M's - brown shell
  • Royal Icing
  • ICING INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 C powder sugar
  • ½ tsp cream of tartar
  • Orange, purple and red gel food coloring
Instructions
  1. ICING DIRECTIONS:
  2. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl mixing on medium speed for 4 minutes. (except your food coloring)
  3. If icing is not stiff enough add ¼ C powder sugar.
  4. Spoon the icing into a bowl. Divide the icing into three bowls.
  5. Add several drops of orange gel food coloring in the first bowl of icing. Stir well to mix the color.
  6. Add several drops of purple gel food coloring in the first bowl of icing. Stir well to mix the color.
  7. Add several drops of purple gel food coloring in the first bowl of icing. Stir well to mix the color.
  8. Spoon the colored icings into separate frosting bags with small tips.
  9. COOKIE DIRECTIONS:
  10. Remove the top cookie from the Oreo.
  11. Leaving the filling of the bottom of the Oreo cookie.
  12. Using the orange and/or icing bags. Make a circle in the middle of the filling covered cookie.
  13. Place a M&M in the center of the icing.
  14. Draw four red lines from the middle of the cookie (the eye) to the edge. Displaying red blood shot eyes.
  15. Allow for the icing to dry for 30 minutes.
